Schleese - The Female Saddle Speciaist
With the patented adjustable Adaptree®, and an innovative saddle design that fits the bio-mechanics of the horse in motion, Schleese truly is the world leader in technologically advanced ergonomic saddle design.
The Adaptree® features an adjustable gullet plate that allows the saddle to be adjusted on an ongoing basis using the Saddle Sizer™ tree machine, allowing for growth and development of your horse. Schleese saddles also feature rear facing, shock absorbing tree points that are strategically located to prevent interference with the rotation of the shoulder during the horse’s movement. Every saddle has a wide gullet channel that allows room for the spinous processes and the dorsal ligament, and the gullet width widens slightly towards the cantle allowing optimum flexibility of the vertabrae. Some models also feature a cut back panel in the shoulder area, allowing maximum freedom of movement should the horse require the benefit of this feature.
Saddles Designed for Women! Traditionally English saddles are designed for the male rider, yet many women do not realise the challenge they face in a male saddle, or realise there is an alternative. As the only designer of a complete line of saddles for women, Schleese helps thousands of female riders all over the world ride comfortably and pain free in their saddles.
The Schleese female saddles are ergonomically designed for the female body. These models take into account all aspects of female anatomy and positional challenges women face when sitting in a saddle. They feature; extended stirrup bars allowing for the typically longer femur of a woman in comparison to her lower leg, a narrow twist which accomodates the Q-Angle of the female hip and gives a spot for the inner thigh to sit closer to the horse, a wider seat allowing room for the females’ wider seat bones, various flap angles that accomodate thigh and hip angles, and the patented ‘crotch comfort’ to relieve any pressure or rubbing on the pubic symphysis of the rider.
